2. Authorised representatives for extended producer responsibility

[COUNTRY] [AR NAME] [ADDRESS] [EMAIL]

If we have not appointed a representative in your country, delete this section — do not leave it partially filled.

3. Producer registration numbers

We are registered as a producer of packaging in the following markets:

Country Register / scheme Registration number
Germany LUCID (Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister) — packaging DE[NUMBER]
France ADEME unique identifier (UIN) — household packaging FR[NUMBER]
Spain Registro de Productores de Producto — packaging [NUMBER]
Italy [SCHEME, e.g. CONAI] [NUMBER]
Austria [SCHEME] [NUMBER]
Netherlands [SCHEME] [NUMBER]
[OTHER] [SCHEME] [NUMBER]

We fund the collection, sorting and recycling of our packaging in these markets through the compliance schemes named above.

4. Packaging we use

The table below describes the packaging components we currently use. Individual orders may not contain every component listed.

Component Material Recycled content How to dispose of it
Outer shipping box Corrugated cardboard (PAP 20) [X]% Flatten and place in paper/cardboard recycling. Remove tape first if your local scheme requires it.
Void fill [e.g. Kraft paper (PAP 22)] [X]% Paper recycling.
Packing tape [e.g. Paper tape with water-based adhesive / PP tape (PP 05)] [X]% [Paper recycling / general waste — check locally.]
Product box [e.g. Folding carton, uncoated board (PAP 21)] [X]% Paper/cardboard recycling.
Inner bag / sleeve [e.g. LDPE (PE-LD 04)] [X]% [Soft plastics collection where available, otherwise general waste.]
Label [e.g. Paper facestock, adhesive backing] [X]% Leave attached to the box and recycle with the cardboard.

Sorting rules differ between countries and between municipalities. Where our guidance conflicts with your local collection scheme, follow your local scheme.

5. Packaging design and minimisation

We design our packaging to use the minimum weight and volume necessary to protect the product in transit, consistent with Article 10 of the PPWR. [DESCRIBE ANY SPECIFICS: right-sized cartons, elimination of secondary boxing, switch from plastic to paper void fill, ship-in-own-container programme, etc. Delete this section if you have nothing concrete to say.]

6. Substances of concern

We require our packaging suppliers to minimise substances of concern in packaging materials and components, and to meet the restrictions on lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that apply under the PPWR. [ADJUST TO MATCH WHAT YOUR SUPPLIERS HAVE ACTUALLY CONFIRMED IN WRITING.]

7. Reusable packaging and take-back

[IF APPLICABLE: describe the reuse or return system, where customers drop packaging off, how returns are funded, and what happens to returned packaging. IF NOT APPLICABLE, replace with the single line below and delete the rest.]

We do not currently operate a reusable packaging or take-back system.

8. Deposit and return systems

[IF APPLICABLE: name the countries and the containers covered, and explain that the deposit is charged at checkout and refunded on return. IF NOT APPLICABLE, delete this section entirely.]

9. Declarations of conformity

An EU declaration of conformity and supporting technical documentation is held for each type of packaging we place on the EU market. Copies are available to market surveillance authorities on request, and to business customers who need them, at [COMPLIANCE EMAIL].

10. United Kingdom

[IF YOU SELL INTO THE UK: the PPWR does not apply there. Set out your UK Extended Producer Responsibility position separately — whether you meet the turnover and tonnage thresholds, your registration status, and your producer registration number if you have one. If you do not sell into the UK, delete this section.]

11. Questions
